CBV Wide-Field Satellite Image

CBV is Playa Ancha/ Valparaiso Radio, in Chile. It's an important source for weather faxes in an area of responsibility that goes south almost to the Antarctic. This remarkable satellite image used to be broadcast daily, but now it appears to be replaced by a different one.

An interesting series of charts from the Chilean Navy ("Armada de Chile") is usually seen in the US most afternoons (local time) on 17146.4 kHz USB.
